A Guide to Discworld and Terry Pratchett

You might have seen this lens before. Unlikely, as it is rarely visited, but it’s possible. If you did, you probably back-pedaled out of it as fast as you could, before the endlessly loading modules finished devouring your browser and moved on to your music collection. Fear no more. For I have tamed it with the power of the PAGE BREAK. Plus,

y’know, general editing >.> So welcome to The Discworld Series and Other Books

So yes, if you wanted to find a review of the Discworld, see what ‘associated’ materials (e.g. awesome calendars!) where available, and what other books Pratchett has written – for yourself, or in order to buy a book or gift for a friend, or

obsessed family member, then this is the place to start. It collects all the reviews currently on Squidoo, throws in a heap of quotes, all lightly sprinkled over a list of the books.

Oh – the next book is out on the 1st of October, and it is called I Shall Wear Midnight – the fourth in the fantastic young adult series around the girl Tiffany Aching. If you need a book for your kids, the collection of these would be a great start. But then, I try and convert everyone to Terry Pratchett. If you yoursef are wondering where to start and have been eying the Discworld behemoth nervously for some time – or worse, you tried reading the Colour of Magic and

your brain now retreats in horror – then visit Never Start With The First Discworld Book for an introduction and an explanation, as well as some pointers for where to start and why. (This update was actually inspired by a comment from Megan Casey on that lens!)

Also if YOU have a lens that should be there, and isn’t, leave me a link!

(And yes, this is the first post I’ve made in months – there’s an embarrasing story about forgotten log-ins and which email I used to sign-up and general procrastination – but I’ll try and be better, I promise!)
